Qualifications

All the members of our team are fully qualified and have the necessary NPTC accredited certificates (CS 30, 31, 38 & 39) relating to: Basic Chainsaw use; Felling; Climbing & Aerial Rescue; Use of a Chainsaw from a Rope & Harness – which are required to carry out day-to-day tree work alongside current Industry based First Aid certificates.

Across the breadth of our team we also have operators certificated in a wide range of additional tree specific qualifications allowing us to select the right team to deliver the most efficient service, tailored to the specifics of the work in hand.

Some of our additional qualifications include: BSc Hons Forestry; BSc Hons Arboriculture; NVQ 1&2 Horticulture; NVQ 1&2 Arboriculture. NPTC’s 32, 40, 41, 45, 47, 48, ABC02, PA1 & PA6, 222, 308, 334; MEWP & IPAFF licenses (powered access machinery); CSCS card holders (for construction sites); Street Works, Lighting & Guarding (Roadside Management); NC Arb. PTS card holders (Railway Arb. work).

Risk Assessment and Method Statements

Before we start work on a job a site specific risk assessment is carried out to identify any hazards and reduce risk. We can also produce method statements explaining how the work is going to be undertaken at each stage (if required).
