We are hiring an Arborist - Lead Climber

Arborist Tree Care Ltd are seeking to hire an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced Arborist to work alongside our friendly team to deliver high quality and varied arboricultural operations on both domestic and commercial properties.

We require a qualified Arborist with NPTC or Lantra qualifications in chainsaw use, felling of medium to large trees, climbing and aerial rescue, chainsaw from a rope and harness, and rigging as a minimum. Due to the nature of the work, a full clean driving licence with a good level of towing experience is necessary, and competence in the operation of tractors and telehandlers is preferable. A good level of experience with rigging operations and the qualified use of chippers and MEWPs would be desirable. We are looking to hire someone who is confident in communicating with our clients and is able to lead and supervise a team onsite.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £13 – £15 ph depending on experience (an equivalent salary of around £30-£33,000 pa) and 28 days holiday entitlement (including Bank Holidays), plus the opportunity for professional development into the company’s sawmilling operations.

This is a permanent, full time role, working 40-45 hours per week, usually from 7am to 4/5pm Monday to Friday, but some flexibility around these hours is expected.
